We are hiring a Part-Time Nurse Aide (NA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our licensed 8-resident adult residential care home in Aiea, HI. Caregiver without nurse aide schooling is considered but contingent on experience and availability

This is a calm, home-like environment — not a corporate facility. Lower stress, supportive leadership, and meaningful patient relationships. Ideal for caregivers who are tired of large, fast-paced facilities and want a more personal, stable setting. We value professionalism, accountability, and team consistency.

Schedule

• Part-time
• 12-hour shifts (average 11.5 hours), POTENTIAL for 6-8 hour shifts if availability aligns for certain days.
• Looking for applicants that can commit to one shift a week and fill in, or 2 shifts a week and fill in
• Consistent weekly schedule
• Meals provided during shift (clocking out for lunch not required)
• Must be able to provide occasional weekend shift coverage. (We are specifically looking for a Sunday shift or Saturday shift coverage)

• Must be able to commit to assigned shifts consistently.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily resident care flow
• Monitor and report changes in resident conditions
• Provide ADL care and medication support (within scope)
• Maintain clean environment
• Cooking meals along with some housekeeping and laundry.
• Ensure safety, routine, and home standards
• professional manner with families/visitors/team/support agencies
• Work alongside with Nurse owner on overall care of home

Requirements :

• Nurse aid schooling certificate OR caregiver with Proof of 6 months experience OR CNA License that is active/current

• Team work mindset

• Experience in care home, assisted living, or LTC preferred

• Reliability, consistent attendance, and ability to commit to assigned shifts are absolute requirements for this role.

• Able to work independently, and think critically

**Must be organized and able to stay on task, Flexibility to pickup shifts is a bonus (when possible to cover for sick/PTO)

$17.00 – $19 per hour depending on certification, experience, availability. + Performance and compensation evaluation at 90 days; any pay adjustments are based on reliability, performance, and tenure but not guaranteed.

Paperwork requirements : We will help you complete required paperwork prior to starting

• Be able to pass a fingerprint background check
• 2-step TB (if not previously completed) and current TB within the past year. Annual TB required thereafter.
• medical release (Specific form to be completed)
• License that is active/current OR Nurse aid schooling certificate OR caregiver with Proof of 6 months experience
