Position: X-Ray Technician

Shift:

7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Contract Duration:

13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours:

36 hours per week

Unit Information:

• Department: Radiology
• Number of Beds: 3 Pre-Post beds
• Staff Members: 120
• Typical Staff Configuration:
  
  
  • Day Shift: 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 Sitters
  • Night Shift: Patient Ratios vary

Equipment Used:

• GE X-ray
• Fluoroscopy
• Operating Room (OR) and Emergency Room (ER)

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System:

EPIC

Qualifications:

Must have the following skills to be considered:

• X-ray and C-Arm Experience
• Fluoroscopy Experience (preferred)

Preferred skills include:

• C-Arm and O-Arm experience for the OR
• Trauma and Stroke X-ray experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

Generation of a total of 135 to 145 X-rays weekly.

Ideal candidates are hardworking, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and quick learners.

Required Certifications:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Floating Areas:

• Operating Room - X-ray
• Emergency Room - X-ray

Dress Code:

Scrub Color/Attire - Grey

Weekend and On-Call Requirements:

Shift from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, but will consider covering additional shifts as needed.
