Breakwater Beach Dockside Dishwasher/Food Runner

Kitchen Assistant

In this position your main responsibility is to keep the kitchen neat and orderly, working with line and prep cooks. This includes:

• Washing dishes and trays as needed
• Floor care
• Counter top care
• Keeping refrigerator and freezers clean and organized and all food items labeled properly
• Keeping dry food and product areas clean and orderly
• During your shift you may also be asked to be a food runner.
• You will work with the waitress staff and bring trays of food to your guests.

There will be further training given for this position.

All the stations in the department work together and help out each other as needed

All the stations work together to keep the area clean during their shift and at closing time.

• You will be required to work in various weather conditions.
• While the majority of your time you will be working indoors in a kitchen environment, it may be necessary to go outside, especially when working as a food runner.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
