RN - Nurse Manager

Job description Job Summary: Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to): One of 2 Unit Managers, responsible to provide Nursing oversight to a designated unit providing supervision of all Clinical Floor Staff. This is a Monday thru Friday Position. Have excellent communication skills. Must understand the team approach and be a supportive team member. Manage staffing as needed. Assist with admissions and other duties assigned by the DON/Administrator. Must be able to meet the physical demands of providing nursing care, ambulating patients, transferring patients, assisting with exercises, etc. Possess excellent assessment skills. Must be able to provide instruction, supervision, and provision of nursing care and treatment according to the Plan of Care. Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team members and others who provide services to each patient to form a cohesive interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent and appropriate care.
