Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Physical Therapist in Indio, California. This is a full-time permanent position with salary, benefits, and opportunities for career growth.We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a collaborative interdisciplinary care team providing rehabilitative services to medically complex and aging patients. The Physical Therapist will provide restorative and therapeutic care in both clinic and home-based settings, with a focus on maximizing patient safety, mobility, and independence.Position Details:Job Title: Physical TherapistLocation: Indio, CaliforniaSchedule: Full-Time, Monday to FridayEmployment Type: PermanentKey Responsibilities:Conduct Physical Therapy assessments in the clinic and in patient homes to identify care needs and develop treatment goalsParticipate in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to individualized care planningDeliver and document Physical Therapy services based on care plans and physician ordersAdminister treatments including active and passive exercises, gait and functional training, massage, and use of therapeutic modalities (heat, sound, light, water, etc.)Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and provide guidance on Functional Maintenance Programs (FMPs)Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic equipment and rehabilitation techniquesRequirements:Bachelor 's degree in Physical Therapy with at least five (5) years of experience requiredMaster's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferredValid California Physical Therapy license or license eligibilityTwo (2) years of experience working with elderly or medically complex patients in a clinical setting preferredPhysical Therapy degrees obtained outside the U.S. must be evaluated to ensure U.S. equivalencyCurrent CPR certification preferredBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance17 days of PTO, 12 paid holidays, and additional sick time401(k) with employer matchBonus and equity opportunitiesCollaborative team environment with room for advancement
