We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a passion for excellence, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As an Electrical Estimator, you will work on a variety of projects, including ground up construction and multifamily construction, using your expertise in Electrical Estimating, Construction Estimating, Project Estimating, and Cost Estimating.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing proposed plans and specifications and performing quantity take-offs for electrical and other specialty trades.
• Review and interpret electrical and architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Utilize estimating software such as Accubid to generate accurate and competitive bids.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are accurately estimated and budgeted.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings to ensure understanding of project scope and requirements.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for future improvements in estimating practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the construction industry to enhance the accuracy and competitiveness of bids.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proven experience with ground up construction and multifamily construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Estimating, Construction Estimating, Project Estimating, and Cost Estimating.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and architectural drawings and blueprints.
• Expertise in using Accubid or similar estimating software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal building code regulations.
