Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Central Sterile Technician. You will be responsible for cleaning assembling, packaging, sterilizing, storing, and distributing instrumentation, supplies, and reusable patient care equipment, in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

Job Description

• Collect, clean, and decontaminate soiled instrumentation and reusable patient care equipment
• Prepare patient care equipment and store in clean equipment room until needed
• Prepare, wrap, label and sterilize instrument sets and packs following Standard Work practices
• Set-up and deliver case carts, sterile sets, packs and reusable patient care equipment.

Skills Required

• At least one year of experience is required
• Two years of experience is preferred
• Knowledge of sterile techniques, instrument identification, surgical procedures and equipment

Education/Training/Certifications

• Minimum Degree Required: Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 11:00 PM-7:30 AM; Weekends and holidays required

Pay Rate

• $37.00 per hour
