Weekly pay: $2,259–$2,414 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for labor and delivery patients; coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care
- Monitor labor progress and fetal status; respond to changes in condition and emergencies in collaboration with the obstetric care team
- Support labor and delivery workflows within the LDRP model; document care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate with physicians, midwives, and ancillary staff
- Administer medications, manage analgesia, and provide patient and family education throughout the intrapartum and immediate postpartum periods
- Maintain high standards of infection control, patient safety, and ethical practice; participate in quality improvement activities and on-unit committees as appropriate
- Demonstrate professional accountability, adapt to rotating night shifts, and ensure continuity of care during handoffs

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California)
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required on hire and every two years for experienced nurses; novices/new to L&D will complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring within first 6–8 months, then Advanced Fetal Monitoring every two years
- LDRP model experience; EPIC experience required
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in the field; one-year recent acute care RN experience required
- Eligible for practice in the state; ability to work 7:00 PM–7:30 AM night shifts and rotating shifts
