Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using the facility's electronic medical record system
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
