Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics (OB) Physician to provide coverage for a very high-volume service within a Women’s & Children’s style hospital setting. This is a long-term opportunity (1 to 2 years) with emergency credentialing available.

Job Details:

\n

Service line: Obstetrics

\n

Credentialing: Emergency credentialing available

\n

Duration: Long-term (1 to 2 years; until hospital transitions to W2 model)

\n

Schedule:  

\n

12 hour shifts

\n

Days: 7a–7p

\n

Nights: 7p–7a

\n

Weekends: 7a–7p / 7p–7a

\n

Commitment Expectations:

\n

Preferred: 4–5 days per week

\n

Minimum: 24 hours (2 shifts) per week + 1 overnight call, ideally. Ability to customize.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive OB coverage for a high-volume labor & delivery service
\n
• Manage routine and high-risk deliveries
\n
• Perform C-sections and emergent OB procedures as required
\n
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia, neonatology, and nursing teams
\n
• Participate in overnight and weekend call coverage
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• MUST be Board Certified (OB/GYN)
\n
• Active state license in NJ
\n
• Active DEA
\n
• Comfortable managing complex and emergent obstetric cases
\n
