Overview Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a Full‑Time Day Shift (Registered Nurse) to join our Resource Pool. Generous Sign On Bonus available up to $15,000 for qualified candidates! Position Overview Support Med/Surg Units. Support inpatient units as needed. The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The RN is expected to assess patients, diagnose health needs, plan and implement individualized care, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, teach patients and families, promote health, evaluate outcomes, and adhere to professional standards including ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality improvement, resource utilization, and environmental health. Qualifications 18 months of RN nursing experience required. Registered Nurse (RN) credential.
