About the Position

Job Title: Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 12 months of interventional vascular/IR lab/Cardiac Cath experience required License: Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; active ARRT (R) required Certifications: BLS (AHA) preferred Must-Have: - 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting - Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience - Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting - Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures - Peripheral vascular experience Description: Quickly interviewing viable candidates. Local candidates not accepted; all candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license. Any past employee of the organization cannot work travel in another market, regardless of current employment status, if they have been employed within the past 12 months. Unless the unit is closed, contractors are required to work 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). Call schedule includes evenings and weekends, approximately every third evening and weekend. The call team covers both facilities, with most emergencies occurring at the primary facility. Duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring procedures. Level I trauma experience is preferred. First-time travelers are welcomed. Professional references are preferred to be recent evaluations from supervisors or nurse managers. Candidates are required to provide documentation for their driver's license. Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is preferred. Iowa Radiology license documentation is highly preferred; issuance timeline varies if non-active. ARRT documentation is required.
