Description:

1Responsible for fulfillment of mission and philosophy by demonstrating leadership abilities, promoting a positive culture, and participating in activities including, but not limited to, strategic planning and implementation.

2Oversees all functions of Employment Services Department including management of activities related to Supported Employment, and customer contracts related to cleaning, maintenance jobs, lawn mowing, and others as appropriate.

3Effectively and positively communicates and cooperates with stakeholders including, but not limited to, Individuals, leadership team, staff, customers, and OCBDD.

4Develops and implements new procedures; and follows established procedures for the department and RVI.

5Responsible for compliance of relevant OAC & ORC rules.

6Responsible for financial performance of department, meeting or exceeding budget.

7Pursues opportunities to generate new business and grow the department.

8Provides quotes and positively promotes services to potential customers to secure new contracts.

9Supervises the set-up of contract work and facilitates any necessary time studies.

10Conducts and/or ensures necessary and/or required staff training on, but not limited to, plans and activities related to serving Individuals and business contracts.

11Supervises assigned staff and provides back up coverage as needed. Assistance is available from the Human Resources Director and issuing discipline as necessary.

12Oversees and maintains exceptional customer service by planning and organizing all contracted services work efficiently and effectively, meeting quality control standards, and by providing adequate inventory control.

13Establishes and effectively manages staffing schedules to meet customers' needs and to best utilize staff and Individuals

14Orders necessary materials and supplies as needed.

15Works with staff in identifying, analyzing, establishing or adjusting work methods/procedures to improve training and to meet schedules and quality standards.

16Visits customer sites to promote excellent customer service and visibility to current and potential customers

17Oversees and ensures accuracy in completion of electronic and hard copy documentation including service provided data, employee timekeeping, and customer billing

18Maintains necessary and appropriate records.

19Attends necessary and appropriate meetings, conferences, and approved training opportunities

20Communicates and cooperates with other members of the Leadership Team.

21Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures

22Promotes an atmosphere of professionalism at all times for self and staff, insuring a positive image for the Employment Services Department both internally and externally.

23Upholds RVI's commitment to positive culture.

24Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by Operations Director.

Requirements:

1.High School Diploma or GED

2.Valid driver's license

3.Thorough knowledge of contracted services processes, methods, and established customer contracts

Ability to read and understand basic financial statements

4.Ability to obtain and maintain required training and certificates

6.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

7.Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in familiar context

8.Attention to detail and organization skills

9.Willingness to work with others and cooperate with coworkers in team environment

10.Ability to interact, speak, and present self in a professional business setting

11.Proactive and creative
