Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day/Night rotating or Nights only. Shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs. Patient ratio 2:1 across all shifts. 72-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Surgical ICU environment with diverse patient population including stroke, sepsis, ARDS, and post-craniotomy patients
• Advanced critical care procedures including CRRT, mechanical ventilation, EVD management, ICP monitoring, and vasopressor titration
• Epic EMR system utilized across the facility
• 12-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; focus on high-acuity surgical and neurological critical care
• Float opportunities to other ICU environments; may include Med/Surg or PCU as needed

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience required (must be actively working in acute care ICU within the last 12 months)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted for this assignment)
• Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, blood product administration, IV sedation, and dysrhythmia management
• 2 professional references required (at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
