This requires professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments. The role involves providing support to individuals of all ages and their families. Guidelines include physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies, and procedures manuals. Nursing duties focus on delivering comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
