Enjoy competitive benefits, professional growth, and rewarding challenges.Job DescriptionOverviewLead estimation efforts for diverse commercial construction projects, ensuring precise cost projections and comprehensive budget planning.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop accurate financial strategies and cost estimates for complex projects.Utilize advanced estimation tools and methodologies to enhance project planning and operational efficiency.Provide actionable insights through detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimation processes and documentation.Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering professional growth and expertise within the team.Drive innovation in estimation practices to improve accuracy and operational outcomes.Support the organization in maintaining a competitive edge within the commercial construction industry.Key Responsibilities & DutiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment breakdowns.Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate cost projections and budgets.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on project scope and objectives.Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle to reflect changes and ensure accuracy.Provide leadership and mentorship to junior estimators and project staff, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.Present cost analysis and recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision-making and strategic planning.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimation activities and documentation.Implement and refine estimation methodologies to improve project efficiency and outcomes.Job RequirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field is required.Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimation; 10 years preferred.Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as Bluebeam or similar platforms.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in cost analysis and budget preparation.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team and stakeholder engagement.Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in commercial construction estimation.Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, driving professional growth and project success.Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in estimation practices.
