Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital ultrasound/vascular setting. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound Current BLS (AHA) required ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, CCI RVS, or RDCS-RVT preferred Proficiency in general ultrasound and vascular studies including carotid, duplex, Doppler, arterial/venous extremity studies, and renal artery duplex preferred Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Compact or LA state license required; license required if applicable 2 Manager/Supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RNs not acceptable) Responsibilities Hospital-based vascular ultrasound unit Average daily census of 10 patients with approximately 5 visits per day Procedures include general ultrasound, abdominal aorta, vascular aorta, arterial graft studies, carotid studies, color flow, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex scanning, lower and upper extremity arterial and venous studies, peripheral vascular resistance, renal artery duplex, and stent evaluations 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM No call required No weekend shifts required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 full year before returning as a travel employee Orientation is held 5 days a week; required modules are completed during orientation All BLS and other required certifications must be AHA-issued Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed during the interview process In the event of an emergency, staff may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-734285 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
