Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technologist to join its Radiology team in Liberty, Missouri.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity offering competitive hourly compensation, a consistent four-day workweek, and full-time benefits.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and departmental procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and MRI techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate care throughout examinations.
• Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging sequences and acquisition parameters.
• Perform venipuncture, manage IV access, and administer prescribed medications as authorized.
• Verify patient identity and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Follow ACR MRI safety guidelines and established screening procedures.
• Screen patients and personnel for MRI-related risks, including implanted medical devices.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Perform quality assurance activities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate and assist students and other healthcare professionals as assigned.
• Complete additional duties consistent with the needs of the department.

-> Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or an MRI imaging program.
• Current ARRT (MR) certification or ARMRIT certification.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, patient positioning, imaging protocols, and image quality.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to follow MRI safety protocols and maintain a safe clinical environment.
