- Executing comprehensive patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic procedures, and crafting tailored care strategies
- Diagnosing and treating acute, chronic, or episodic medical conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently based on your qualifications
- Providing education to patients and their families centered around prevention, healthy living, and chronic disease management
- Administering prescriptions and therapies consistent with your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-up and overseeing chronic care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient support
- Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical record systems
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates (or the capacity to obtain within 90 days)
