You'll work seven nights on, followed by seven nights off. Responsibilities may include:Responding promptly to overnight callsAssessing patient needs and providing skilled nursing guidanceTriage and coordination of appropriate careMaking in-person visits when neededCommunicating with physicians, caregivers, and other team membersProviding reassurance and compassionate support during stressful momentsCompleting accurate and timely clinical documentationHelping older adults remain safe, comfortable, and well cared forThis is an active overnight on-call role. The ideal candidate is comfortable being awake and available throughout the night and enjoys the energy and responsibility that come with being the person others rely on.Visits may be scheduled at the start of a shift. You'll also travel throughout Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean counties for additional visits when patient needs arise.What We're Looking ForCurrent, unrestricted RN license in New JerseyAt least one year of nursing experience preferredExperience in geriatrics, hospice, home health, long-term care, or emergency nursing is a plusStrong assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skillsCalm, confident decision-making under pressureGenuine compassion for older adults and their familiesExcellent communication and documentation skillsValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insuranceAbility to travel within the assigned service area, when requiredNew to hospice?
