Position Details

Employment Type: Full-Time

• Monday: 7:20 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:20 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: Off
• Thursday: 8:20 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Team Meeting Days: 7:20 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:20 AM – 4:00 PM

Practice Environment: Supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive preventive and periodontal dental hygiene care
• Educate patients on oral health, treatment recommendations, and home care practices
• Build strong patient relationships through exceptional communication and compassionate care
• Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to deliver outstanding patient experiences
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
• Contribute positively to a culture centered on teamwork, growth, and excellence in patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience with dental software and clinical charting
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and education
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented approach

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office
