Senior Staff Accountant

Job Description
This 30-40 year old privately held cmpany is looking for a unique Sr. Staff Accountant who excels in managing business controls. You will oversee and be involved with all accounting functions including A/P, A/R, Month End Closing, Reconciliations and Payroll Submittals. This position will be an in-office position, Monday-Friday 7:00a - 3:30p with limited overtime due to deadlines.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Similar preferred
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience working with 2-3 bank reconciliations and businesses
- Experience working with software upgrades and streamlining procedures
- Use of "Teams" for video meetings - some of management do work remote
- Able to post A/P, A/R transactions, cut checks, deposit Receivables and file info accordingly
- QuickBooks Online experience is a big plus and/or QuickBooks Desktop
- Summarizing payroll with PTO and bonus calculations for submittal to PEO
- Able to work efficiently on your own with limited training
- Will work on other projects as required
