Full Stack Developer

Full Stack DeveloperThis position is part of a very agile team of systems and software engineers who will analyze existing capabilities as well as design and develop new solutions that will integrate with other products within the organization and across the agency baseline. Working in a dynamic and agile environment, systems engineers will capture how capabilities work, determine the use cases they satisfy, perform testing and validation, and provide artifacts required to make software development successful. Software developers will work within an existing CI/CD pipeline, performing back-end, UI, and/or full-stack development to create capabilities that perform geolocation data processing at scale.Work Schedule: 5 Days, 8 Hours a dayEssential Responsibilities:Work with a high-performing software development team in an agile, DevOps environmentAnalyze capabilities of existing products to develop enhancements primarily using PythonPerform development and integration of multiple user interfaces and/or numerous services for software that performs data processing at scaleConduct development, testing, validation, deployment, maintenance, and Tier 3 support for operational softwareDesign and implement software solutions that can be integrated with core services and across new baselinesApply accepted agile software development practices to test and document the code baseWork Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing, fast-paced, CI/CD environmentExperience developing back-end services in PythonExperience writing web user interfaces using modern Java, Javascript, and/or HTMLExperience with Active MQ, Rest, NoSQL and/or elastic databasesExperience validating capabilities against requirements, writing and executing test cases, and capturing test resultsExperience working with the Atlassian tool suite to track and maintain requirements (i.e., JIRA & Confluence)Clearance Required:TS/SCI w/FSPMinimum Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degreeYears of Experience:14 years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required4 years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degreePreferred Qualifications:Experience working with dynamic and/or interactive map software #javelinSalary Range: $215,000 - $238,000Compensation Details:$214,000 - $238,000The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
