SAS AML Developer

Salary: $40,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with SAS AML version 7.1 or 7.2
• Strong background building and customizing AML scenarios
• Expertise in Base SAS programming
• Strong SQL and Oracle Database experience
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
• Understanding of AML transaction monitoring, suspicious activity detection, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Experience supporting large-scale AML programs in banking or financial services

• Design, develop, and enhance AML detection scenarios in the SAS AML platform
• Build and maintain customer segmentation models and risk-based monitoring logic
• Develop and modify AML prep jobs, datasets, and data-processing workflows
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical AML solutions
• Configure and tune transaction-monitoring scenarios, rules, thresholds, and risk-scoring logic
• Conduct unit testing, support SIT/UAT, resolve defects, and prepare for production
• Collaborate with AML business, compliance, and technology teams throughout the project lifecycle
