Own the Local Route

Join our Shipping team and be the reliable face of our deliveries across the Indianapolis, IN area. You’ll operate a company box truck to move in‑process sheet metal parts to vendors and bring finished goods to our customers—safely, efficiently, and with great service.

• Position: Truck Driver (Box Truck)
• Department: Shipping
• Reports to: Shipping Manager
• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana metro

A Day in the Driver’s Seat

• Transport sheet metal products to and from scheduled locations around Indianapolis.
• Plan smart routes to hit delivery windows and keep the day moving.
• Review and confirm delivery instructions before each stop.
• Secure, balance, and protect loads to prevent damage.
• Assist with loading/unloading using hand trucks and forklifts as needed.
• Capture signatures to complete deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Represent the company with professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Refuel and tidy the box truck to keep it road‑ready.
• Prioritize safety and obey all traffic laws at every turn.
• Notify management promptly of any accidents, tickets, vehicle damage, or major maintenance needs.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Proven experience as a truck driver.
• Indiana For‑Hire Endorsement (required); CDL preferred.
• Confidence operating and parking large, heavy vehicles.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Self‑starter mindset; able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Alert, detail‑oriented, and focused under pressure.
• Calm demeanor and solid stress‑management abilities.
• Sound problem‑solving skills when issues arise on the road.
• Technical aptitude with adequate computer skills.
• Clean driving record (required).
