Senior HVAC Technician

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems. This position will also lead complex service calls, mentor junior technicians, communicate with customers, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, RTUs, mini-splits, and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Install HVAC systems, ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system testing, and commissioning.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-system issues.
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Complete service records and work orders.
- Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Follow OSHA, EPA, local code, and company safety requirements.
- Participate in emergency service calls and rotating on-call schedules.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of HVAC installation and service experience.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting, electrical, refrigeration, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and mentor less-experienced technicians.
