Overview
MRI Technologist – Radiology, MRI specialty, needed in Needham, MA. Travel temporary assignment starts 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,801–$2,943. Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly. Shift: 5x8 rotating (day/evening). Work involves performing MRI exams in an acute care–style imaging setting as part of a dedicated imaging team.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across prescribed protocols, ensuring high-quality images that meet clinical requirements.
- Prepare patients, provide clear explanations of the procedure, position for scans, and select appropriate coils and sequences.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, assess contraindications, and monitor for patient comfort and safety throughout the exam.
- Administer and monitor contrast as per protocol, observe for adverse reactions, and follow established safety procedures.
- Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and archiving of images; verify patient data and orders for each study.
- Maintain MRI equipment and work environment, adhere to safety standards, and collaborate with the radiology team to optimize workflow.

Requirements
- Active ARRT MRI certification (verification required)
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care facility
- Ability to work a rotating 5x8 shift (day/evening) starting 09/07/2026
- US work authorization
