Our patient’s health is our priority, and we go above and beyond to care in every way possible.Position StatementThe PCU Licensed Nurse Assistant is responsible to care for adult and geriatric patients hospitalized for medical and post-surgical care.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists and supervises patients to perform activities of daily living including bathing, toileting, eating, and ambulating.Performs and documents vital sign checks, glucose monitoring, and bladder scanning.Documents oral intake, elimination output, and patient rounding.Reports patient concerns and changes in patient condition to Staff nurse and/or Charge nurse.Provides compassionate end of life care.Attends and participates in unit education and in-services.Strives to improve the quality of patient care through personal development and unit projects.Collaborates with teammates to promote and preserve a positive work-place culture.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesCurrent Vermont LNA license required. Current BLS certification required. Classes and certification offered by Employer. Maintains current AVADE certification. Classes and certification offered by Employer.
