Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Variable Start Times: 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in an acute care hospital operating room setting
• Support trauma, neurological, vascular, and orthopedic surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations distributed equally among nursing staff, approximately every 6 weeks, which may include up to 6–8 shifts per 6-week period including nights, evenings, and weekends
• Float between like units within the facility or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical specialties required
• Valid California RN license (must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to work weekends and participate in on-call assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care OR environment
• Familiarity with floating to sister or affiliate facilities
• Ability to accommodate a variable or block schedule per manager discretion
