Office Engineer III - ICP

Overview Cordoba Corporation, a leading engineering firm in California is hiring an Office Engineer III to support our facilities projects with LAWA. The ideal candidate will oversee detailed construction documentation, manage RFIs and submittals, and ensure adherence to engineering standards. They will facilitate communication across project teams and perform site inspections to confirm field conditions and track progress. Must have at least 15 years of experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or other related field. Responsibilities Maintain organized and detailed construction files, project records and logs. Track, document and manage project issues and conditions, including the management of the construction Request For Information (RFI) and submittal process. Provide and coordinate technical and administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions Performs site walks to verify field conditions and develop progress or status reports. Maintain project files and logs that include correspondence, contractor invoices and progress statements, change orders as well as claims, timesheets and extra services. Coordinates progress meetings with contractors, project managers and field staff; prepares agendas and records meeting minutes and follows up on action items. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field. Master's degree preferred. Fifteen (15) years or more of experience, preferably on airport projects. Has demonstrable specialized experience/area of expertise. Must have Engineering and construction knowledge of all aspects of airfield airport construction. Must be familiar with construction management tools and software. Must have excellent skills in document contract, documentation, and saving and monitor inspection request submitted by tenant/contractor when received on a daily basis. Filing and reviewing of RFI’S, Submittal and some knowledge of Plan Reading. Excellent knowledge and proficient in Microsoft Office and management software (Be capable to create logs, charts, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Licensed Engineer (preferably by CA Board of Engineers) is preferred Optional Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PMP, etc., and/or any other relevant Professional Licensure or Certification Some knowledge and experience of Airport construction (desired).
