Quality/ISO Manager

Position Purpose: Coordinate and perform duties related to internal and external quality, and maintain ISO Registration.

Primary Activities:

• Maintain ISO registration by reviewing standards, performing audits, and managing the quality process .
• Complete customer required quality and compliance documentation. For example; PPAP, FMEA, COO, NAFTA, control plans, etc.
• Communicate with customers when necessary regarding quality issues, document requests, etc.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications
• Perform inspections when necessary for incoming and outgoing product.
• Perform in process inspections when necessary.
• Maintain documentation for lot control of product for specific customers.
• Maintain and reduce scrap levels during production processes.
• Monitor, correct and update information on shop papers relative to work center routing and any special requirements.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality management systems
• Maintain gage calibration program.
• Assist with the machine/equipment maintenance program.
• Assist with recommendations for policy and procedure.
• Perform other duties and projects on an as needed basis.

Position Requirements

• Business, manufacturing, or engineering related degree or Certification from ASQ or equivalent years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience from a manufacturing Field.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
• High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be extremely detail oriented while also having the ability to multitask.
• Must have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
