Overview The Advance Practice Provider (APP) plays an important role in providing the highest quality healthcare to our patients. As an APP you will be part of an experienced team that includes physicians, nurses, and other professionals in primary care. The APP evaluates, diagnoses, clinically monitors, and manages patients utilizing advanced assessment skills and knowledge of clinical therapeutics. The APP works in collaboration with their supervising physician. Qualifications Post Graduate Degree Advanced Practice Clinician Licensure BLS ACLS Experience None Skills Organizational Verbal Interpersonal Customer Relations Mathematical Analytical Grammar/Spelling Read/Comprehend written instructions Follow verbal instructions Computer - Excel Program, Medical Record Charting Mental and Emotional Requirements Manage stress appropriately Make decisions under pressure Manage anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately Handle multiple priorities Work alone Work in areas that are confined and/or crowded Working Conditions Exposure to blood and/or body fluids Exposure to communicable diseases CRT (computer) monitor Physical Requirements Medium work - Prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally. Stand for 3-4 hours per day. Sit for 2-3 hours per day. Walk for 6-8 hours per day. Perform repetitive tasks/motions. Distinguish colors. Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorder/normal speaking voice.
