The Security Operations Team consists of Security Infrastructure, Guard Force Operations, and Crisis Management. ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Northeast Regional Physical Security Lead. This role will provide strategic leadership and day‑to‑day management of all physical security operations across Anduril’s facilities in the Northeastern region. You will be the primary point of contact for physical security, manage contracted guard forces, conduct rigorous security assessments, and ensure robust security measures protect our personnel, assets, and sensitive operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Regional Leadership: Provide strategic direction and operational leadership for all physical security functions across multiple sites in the Northeastern region. Guard Force Management: Oversee performance and management of all contracted security guard forces, ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and build strong vendor relationships. Site Security Oversight: Lead day‑to‑day physical security management of sites in the Northeast AOR, implementing Anduril's security policies and procedures. Physical Security Assessments: Conduct comprehensive, regular assessments of all Northeast facilities, evaluating access control, perimeter security, CCTV, alarm systems, visitor management, and overall vulnerability. Risk Mitigation & Strategy: Identify physical security risks specific to the Northeast region and develop/implement mitigation strategies. Budget Management: Manage the regional physical security budget, ensuring cost‑control and accurate reporting. Crisis Management Support: Provide crucial security support during crisis events, collaborating with the Security Operations team and local leadership. Incident Investigation: Lead or support investigations into security incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and timely reporting. Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with site leadership, Facilities, EHS, Legal, HR, and external agencies. Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with global security standards, regulations, and legal requirements. Security Technology: Support evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of security technologies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field. 5–7 years of progressive experience in physical security management with regional oversight. Experience managing physical security across multiple sites in a specific geographic region. Track record of conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation plans. Experience overseeing security budgets and performance of contracted services, understanding SLAs and KPIs. Knowledge of physical security principles, technologies (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection), and best practices. Understanding of crisis management principles and experience supporting physical security during incidents. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in high‑pressure situations. Ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export‑controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in defense, aerospace, or technology sectors. Familiarity with security landscape and threats in the Northeastern region. Security certifications such as CPP, PSP, or ASIS International. Experience with government contracts and related security requirements. Proficiency with security management software and incident reporting systems. US Salary Range $99,000 – $130,000 USD (base salary only; equity and benefits are part of total compensation).
