Travel Licensed Practical Nurse SNF Job

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Location: Amsterdam, NY, United States. Start date: 06/15/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a 5x8 schedule. No guaranteed hours. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,371–$1,420 per week Guaranteed hours: none Shift: Night shift, 5x8, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM Contract duration: 13 weeks Setting: Skilled nursing care facility Local travelers within 50 miles accepted with decreased bill rate Every other weekend required Minimum 2 years of SNF experience BLS and current NYS license required Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; document administration accurately in the charting system. Perform routine nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in resident status. Respond promptly to call bells; ensure fall prevention, safety, and comfort of residents. Collaborate with RNs and multidisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans. Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide hygiene, nutrition support, and basic wound care as assigned. Document care plans, observations, and interventions clearly and timely in the electronic health record. Requirements Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 2 years of SNF/LPN experience. Ability to work night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) and every other weekend; available to work at least 4 of 8 hours per shift.
