- The Welder is responsible for various types of welding preparation, welding processes, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
- Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment by depositing metal from electrode to work piece and joins edges of work piece.
- Repair improperly welded pieces and fill holes.
- Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble.
- Interpret of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbols
- Knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
- Working knowledge of fixture and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience desired in a manufacturing environment.
- One-year experience in various forms of welding preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by management.
- As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company's quality policy and quality objectives in order to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
- Works primarily in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
- Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, and reaching.
- PPE required may include safety glasses and gloves in designated areas of the facility.
