Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $16.00hr - $21.00hrRequirement/Must Have:Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.Keyboard/data entry experience is required.Responsibilities:Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.Maintain a safe and professional environment.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintain required records and documentation.Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and the public.Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and sensitivity to confidentiality.Nice To Have:Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.One+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Skills:Phlebotomy.Specimen Collection.Specimen Processing.Data Entry.Pediatric Phlebotomy.Geriatric Phlebotomy.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).Minimum of 6 months experience.
