Assignment: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Position Type: Full-Time
We are currently seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join a supportive school district in Zion, IL for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to students throughout the school day.
- Assess and respond to student health concerns and emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.
- Develop and maintain Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and academic success.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification required.
- Active PEL
- Previous school nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time schedule following the school calendar.
- School year contract: August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027.
