Duties

• Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently
• Manage POS systems
• Control and order inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and health standards across all operations
• Supervise shift management, including scheduling staff, coordinating tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours
• Conduct staff interviews, performance evaluations, and training sessions to build a skilled hospitality team
• Analyze profit and loss reports to optimize operational efficiency and support budgeting efforts
• Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and resolving issues professionally
• Support catering, banquet, or special event services as needed to diversify cafe offerings

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management
• Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
• Familiarity with POS systems; cash handling expertise required
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and inventory control practices
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage staff training effectively
• Excellent communication skills for managing staff performance and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counting, and financial analysis
• Experience in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fine dining settings preferred
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary experience or food production background is highly desirable
