Desired Skills & Credentials:

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Professional Educator License (PEL) issued by Illinois required
• School-based experience supporting students with low-incidence disabilities strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-5 students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students in the Low Incidence Program
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and updates
• Serve as a resource to school personnel on speech and language topics
