Our organization is actively seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to become a part of our Psychiatry Department faculty. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility, primarily focusing on outpatient care while also involving some hospital-based duties.
The department features a 26-bed acute inpatient unit, a consultation-liaison service that attends to patients across the hospital, an outpatient psychiatry teaching clinic, an outpatient practice, and an integrated care program across various clinical locations. Our ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program hosts 28 residents and provides training for medical and physician assistant students from Albany Medical College, along with psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct care to children and adolescents in both hospital and outpatient settings
- Provide consultations for the hospital and memory clinic
- Administer ECT and TMS treatments
- Educate and supervise psychiatry residents and medical students
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives
Compensation: The starting salary is competitive, ranging from $240,000 to $250,000, and is negotiable based on academic rank and experience.
