Reach Lift Operator Location: Henrico, VA 23231 Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, variable start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. Nine-hour shifts, including a one-hour lunch break. About the Opportunity Join a warehouse team responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping customer products in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role combines reach truck operation with hands-on warehouse work, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active throughout the day. This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule. Overtime may be available based on business needs. What You'll Do Safely operate a stand-up reach truck and other material handling equipment. Receive inbound freight from trailers and shipping containers. Put away products in designated rack locations. Retrieve pallets from elevated warehouse storage locations. Pick customer orders accurately. Stage outbound freight for shipping. Load and unload trailers. Verify quantities, lot numbers, and product information against shipping and receiving documentation. Maintain inventory accuracy using RF scanners and the warehouse management system. Perform daily equipment inspections. Assist with cycle counts and inventory control activities. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Work in multiple warehouse departments as business needs require. Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards. What We're Looking For Previous reach truck or forklift experience is preferred. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable performing manual warehouse work, including piece picking and hand-splitting pallets. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work overtime and adjusted schedules as needed. Work Environment This position combines forklift operation with manual warehouse work. Approximately 30% of the day is spent operating a stand-up reach truck, while approximately 70% involves order picking and other hands-on warehouse tasks.
