Hangar 24 is looking for a Catering & Sales Manager to build and grow our catering business across all four locations.

This isn’t a role where you inherit a fully built program. You’ll help create it.

You’ll own the catering sales process from first inquiry through event handoff—generating new business, building client relationships, converting opportunities into booked events, and creating the systems that help our catering program scale.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to and qualify catering inquiries across all Hangar 24 locations
• Generate new business through community relationships, partnerships, referrals, and outbound sales
• Conduct venue tours and client consultations
• Create customized proposals, agreements, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Turn qualified opportunities into booked events
• Track deposits, payments, event details, and client communication
• Coordinate with General Managers, Culinary, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure events are set up for success
• Own and maintain our catering management platform, calendars, templates, workflows, and customer records
• Keep an accurate, organized sales pipeline
• Track revenue, conversion, repeat business, and average event value
• Build repeatable processes and documentation that can support a growing catering team

What Success Looks Like

You’re growing catering revenue, responding quickly to new leads, keeping the pipeline clean, and creating an organized experience for clients from first contact through event day.

Just as importantly, you’re building a catering sales operation that can scale—not one that lives entirely in someone’s inbox or memory.

Requirements:What We’re Looking For

• 3–7+ years of experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, event sales, or business development
• A proven ability to generate new business and build strong client relationships
• Strong sales instincts with a hospitality-first approach
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and project-management skills
• Confidence managing multiple events and priorities at once
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication
• Experience with catering, CRM, or event-management software; Toast Catering is a plus
• A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset
• Someone who can build systems while still delivering a great client experience
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball—or the keg

Work Details

Compensation: Hourly pay plus performance-based commission
Location: Travel between Hangar 24 locations as needed
Schedule: Primarily weekdays, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and special events

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods during venue tours and events, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, travel between Hangar 24 locations, and work comfortably in active hospitality environments.
