Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years required License: South Carolina RN license or Compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs Experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Interpretation of Dysrhythmias Acceptance of first-time travelers Description: We are looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. This position requires working night shifts of 12 hours each. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Every other weekend shift is required. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in community hospitals is preferred. Open to accommodating block schedules upon request, but not guaranteed. Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate. All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. During hurricane season, all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams. Recent experience with charting systems such as Epic is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable managing patients with common medical conditions. Team support includes various interdisciplinary services to assist with patient care. Professional development and compliance with all necessary protocols will be required. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in an acute care environment.
