We are seeking a Strategic Portfolio and Growth Leader to define, own, and drive the long-term growth trajectory of the Det-Tronics portfolio. This role is accountable for shaping portfolio strategy, identifying and executing growth opportunities, and enabling a high-performance, product managementcentric operating model.

This leader will bring a strong external perspective, translating market insights, customer needs, and digital transformation trends into actionable portfolio strategies. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and execution rigor, with clear ownership of growth initiativesincluding partnerships and M&Ato expand capabilities and accelerate portfolio value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Growth Ownership

• Lead the development and execution of portfolio-driven growth strategies, including new market entry, adjacent expansion, and solution-based offerings
• Collaborate with the Sales team to plan and execute growth strategies.
• Translate market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence into clear portfolio actions and investment priorities
• Establish clear value propositions, positioning, and segmentation strategies to drive differentiated growth
• Prioritize between multiple opportunities and develop a long-term roadmap that balances growth and investments

Partnerships & M&A Leadership

• Identify, evaluate, and lead strategic partnerships to expand technology capabilities, market access, and solution offerings
• Own the M&A pipeline for the portfolio, including identification, strategic rationale development, and collaboration with leadership on execution
• Assess potential partners and acquisition targets based on strategic fit, growth potential, and portfolio synergies

Voice of Customer & Market Intelligence

• Partner with Product Managers on Voice of Customer efforts to identify unmet needs and translate them into clear product requirements, business cases, and innovation opportunities
• Continuously monitor industry dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decisions and portfolio direction

Commercial Enablement & Portfolio Performance

• Provide strategic oversight across the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Place) to ensure alignment with portfolio strategy
• Support product launches, pricing strategy, and sales enablement to maximize market adoption and revenue impact
• Support and monitor the execution of the growth initiatives
• Own the executive reporting on the growth initiatives performance including escalating to remove any roadblocks

Portfolio Pricing and Pricing Realization

• Develop and own the price, volume, mix matrix for key product lines
• Monitor and root cause major pricing discrepancies and work with Sales to develop mitigation strategies
• Work with Sales operations to analyze key project loses and associated competitor price points and develop strategies to counter competitive moves for future bids

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 510 years of experience in product management, portfolio strategy, or growth strategy roles
• Demonstrated success in driving growth initiatives, partnerships, or M&A-related activities
• Ability to travel >25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Strong background in portfolio strategy, corporate strategy, or consulting
• Experience in industrial safety, automation, control systems, or fire and gas detection solutions
• Strong business acumen, including financial modeling, investment analysis, and business case development
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across functions
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of turning strategy into execution and results
