Tax - Indirect Tax - Global Trade Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Global Trade Senior Location: Anywhere in Country EY’s Global Trade practice offers advisory services on global customs, import, export, and other international trade matters to leading corporations. The practice aims to drive aggressive growth in revenue, client base, and service coverage, creating long‑term career paths for candidates able to deliver in market‑facing and client‑management roles. Key Responsibilities Manage the design and delivery of trade automation solutions using Thomson Reuters OSGT across multiple industries. Lead Thomson Reuters OSGT software implementation projects, collaborating with technical and consulting teams throughout requirements, design, configuration, testing, integration, cutover, and go‑live phases. Establish project organization, clear requirements, benefits statements, planning, risk and quality controls, configuration management, and change control. Plan, monitor, and report project progress, managing time, cost, and resources while supporting resources and deliverables. Conduct functional and process requirement workshops to define business, process, and data requirements for global trade operations. Participate in business and technical solution design workshops for Thomson Reuters OSGT. Develop and review software implementation work products and deliverables, configuring functional modules and processes. Stay informed on current global trade developments and new Thomson Reuters OSGT functionalities to advise clients. Represent EY’s global trade services offerings to clients and integrate with the global trade network. Skills and Attributes for Success Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, International Business, or a related field; US Customs Brokers license considered a plus. Two or more years of relevant work experience in industry, professional services, a Fortune 500 company, or a major importer. Proven experience in Thomson Reuters OSGT software implementation projects. Technical knowledge in configuring and testing Thomson Reuters OSGT. Proficiency in a technology‑enabled environment, including trade automation and data analytic tools. Ability to proactively engage clients and deliver high‑quality project deliverables. Travel required; percentage depends on location and projects. Preferred Qualifications Foreign language capabilities. Strong project management experience with excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude. Experience coaching, mentoring, and motivating project teams to foster accountability and collaboration. Effective communication of project expectations to all stakeholders.
