Schedule Night shift - 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Telemetry Unit provides direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. The RN works collaboratively with a healthcare team while adhering to policies and standards of care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on telemetry. Monitor vital signs and assess patient status regularly. Administer medications as prescribed and manage telemedicine equipment. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Educate patients and families regarding health management and discharge planning. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Float to other hospitals based on staffing needs as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry or a similar setting. Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state license. Current ACLS and BLS certifications. Must pass the Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of assignment commencement. First-time travelers accepted, though preferred candidates are experienced.
