What You’ll Do
As a Recycling Sorter, you will work on a moving conveyor line within our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Your primary goal is to ensure high-quality sorting of paper, plastics, and metals.
- Precision Sorting: Identify and separate recyclable materials from a moving stream with speed and accuracy.
- Quality Control: Proactively remove contaminants and non-recyclable items to meet industry standards.
- Operational Safety: Follow all safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to keep the workflow smooth and efficient.
- Site Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and clear of debris to ensure maximum productivity.
Work Environment
- Industrial Setting: You will work in a high-energy, non-climate-controlled facility.
- Dynamic Conditions: Expect a loud environment with exposure to dust, odors, and varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Physical Activity: This role requires standing for the duration of your shift, repetitive motion, and constant alertness.
Qualifications & Requirements

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, twist, and reach for 8–10 hour shifts.
- Strength: Must be able to lift between 25–50 lbs as needed.
- Reliability: Ability to work assigned shifts, including potential rotating schedules.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others in a production-focused setting.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, labor, or production roles is a plus, but not required. We will train the right candidate!
- Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday 2nd shift (5:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
