Phlebotomist-Bi Lingual Spanish/English

Job Overview Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Bilingual Phlebotomist for our Patient Service Center in Newark, NJ. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Minimum 2 years experience as a phlebotomist Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking Proven track record of exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team, comfortable with minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Preferred Qualifications 2.5 years or more phlebotomy experience Compensation Pay Range: $17.75 - $24.00 per hour. Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, providing a quarterly bonus based on performance.
