Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift / 13-Week Contract)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Charge RNs and Licensed Nursing Assistants on the night shift
• Support and assist with orthopedic surgical procedures including knee, hip, shoulder, and cervical cases, as well as bariatric patients
• Operate unit equipment including Hoyer lifts and CPM machines
• Float to Medical Oncology as needed per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Strong patient-focused approach with the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in orthopedics and/or bariatrics in addition to Med Surg
• Familiarity with post-surgical patient care protocols
