This is a rewarding role for nurses who value connection, continuity of care, and making a real difference in a childs lifeplus a few extra smiles and hugs along the way./ph3Location:/h3pRedfield/ph3Schedule:/h3pFull-time hours/pp9:00pm - 7:00am/ppWeeknight and weekend shifts available/ph3Start of Care:/h3pUrgent / Immediate/ph3Client Needs May Include, but are not limited to:/h3pPediatric (infant) patient/ppG-tube care/ppOxygen/ppMedication administration/ph3What Were Looking For:/h3pComfortable managing G-tube feedings (training may be available)/ppReliable, attentive, and committed to consistent scheduling/ph3Why Join Family First HomeCare?/h3pEmployee Referral Bonus opportunities/pp24/7 clinical team support/pp1:1 patient-focused care/ppPreceptee Programs offered for New Grads and Seasoned Nurses/ppJoin us and discover a supportive environment where your career can thrive!/ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3pAccountable for providing care that is based on licensure/certification within the scope of practice/ppMaintains an updated clinical record on each patient at all times, meeting required deadlines for documentation/ppEvaluates the effectiveness of nursing service to the patient and family on an ongoing basis/ppConsults with physicians concerning alterations of patient care plans, documentation of changes in patient care and reports all changes in care to the nurse supervisor/ppSupports FFHCs mission by mentoring and/or coaching new employees during patient specific orientations/ppEducates patients and their caregivers on topics related to patients care needs/ppParticipates in FFHC Quality Assurance, Performance Improvement program (QAPI) as requested/ppContinually strives to improve his/her nursing care skills/ppAttends and/or completes all mandatory training/ in-services as assigned/ppSubmits required personnel file documentation in a timely manner/ppAdheres to FFHC compliance and ethics expectations/ppMaintains patient and family confidentiality/ppMaintains professional, supportive, and responsive interpersonal communication skills/ppPerforms other duties as assigned/ph3Role Qualifications:/h3pEducation Experience/ppRequired/ppLPN/LVN Nursing Degree. Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact where recognized./pp1 years of demonstrated experience/ppValid driver license with proof of insurance in applicable states/ppClear background screening/ppWorking knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts/ppValid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check/ppClear Hep B Screening in applicable states/ppClear TB Screening in applicable states/ph3Key Competencies:/h3pThe ability to read and communicate in English both verbally and in writing./ph3Working Conditions/Equipment Use:/h3pWork is performed in the patients home - not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Training may be performed in an office setting./ppMust be able to lift up to fifty pounds (50) pounds without an assisted lifting device./ppFrequent use of office machines to include telephone, computer, and printer/ppFamily First Homecare is an equal opportunity employer.
